Carla Toully (76) and the Spanish Martha Arellano (63) leave Roland-Garros as soon as they enter the competition, beaten by the Italian-Argentine duo Orsi (32) / Fassio (45) on the score of 7 / 5 6 / 3 .
A close but cruel first set
The Franco-Spanish duo held their own in the first set. The rallies were long and hard-fought, but it was Orsi and Fassio who won the important points. Touly and Arellano were nervous in return, and at 5/5 they conceded their serve before letting the set slip away. 7/5 .
Experience makes the difference
In the second set, the Italians and the Argentinians quickly took the upper hand. Stronger on serve, they flew to 5/2 Touly and Arellano break back to keep hope alive, but they lose their serve again behind, sealing the match. 6/3 .

Encouraging signs despite everything
Despite this logical defeat , there was room to do better. For Touly, it's a second defeat against Orsi, but his partnership with Arellano remains promising. It's only their second tournament together , after an already interesting Madrid P1.
End of the road for the French women... except Collombon
With this elimination, all the French women entered in the singles draw have left the Paris Major. Now only Alix Collombon , exempted from the first round as the No. 13 seed, who will enter directly in the second round.
I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
