When building a plot of padel, there are two very distinctive elements to be taken into account: the structure of the land as such, that is to say the walls and the coating, and the concrete slab on which the structure rests. The structure can be bought on the market for around 25 euros. The concrete slab can double the price. Thus, we can quickly find ourselves with a project for a land valued at 000 euros.

In addition, several additional options are offered when creating a site: lights, coatings of different qualities, the color of this coating, a “panoramic” view (without the metal uprights between the panes),… these options can quickly increase prices considerably.

Regarding financial aid, projects with a private market characteristic do not receive any financial support from the Tennis Federation. Structures can obviously seek sponsorship, but they can not receive grants.

For associations of type tennis clubs affiliated to the federation, they are entitled to receive a subsidy from the tennis league in which the club is located. It should be noted that the federation has delegated the power to award grants to projects padel at the Tennis Leagues. Thus, all clubs located in Hauts-de-France must approach the Hauts-de-France tennis league. There is, however, one condition for awarding the grant: clubs must choose a padel FFT labeled. Without this, the allocation of the grant of around 5 euros cannot be validated.

We were thus able to highlight the technical and financial characteristics of the development of a padel. This will allow us to understand the issues around the construction of land for a private market type structure and for an associative structure.
