The male table of the  Buenos Aires P1  The hierarchy will ultimately have been respected. In a completely frenzied atmosphere fueled by the Argentinian crowd, the top four seeds secured their places in the semi-finals. Some had to fight hard, others cruised to victory, but the final four now promises to be an epic spectacle.

Galán / Chingotto pushed to their limits

The pair that suffered the most in the quarter-finals is clearly  Ale Galán / Fede Chingotto . In front of  Jon Sanz / Coki Nieto The world number 2s seemed to be in complete control after a one-sided first set.  6/1 .

But then the match took a completely different turn. Sanz and Nieto significantly increased their intensity, found more offensive solutions, and began to cause Galán and Chingotto considerable problems. The second set became extremely close and ultimately ended in a high-stakes tiebreak.

And as is often the case in tense moments:  Galán and Chingotto are present .

They ultimately prevail:  6 / 1 7 / 6  and once again reach the final four.

Stupa/Yanguas put up a solid fight against the tournament's surprise package

On their side,  Franco Stupaczuk / Mike Yanguas  they too had to work hard to cope with  Javi García / José Jiménez , one of the pleasant surprises of this week for Argentina, notably knocking out Di Nenno / Gonzalez in the 8th.

The first set was extremely close. García and Jiménez played with complete freedom and pushed the favorites to a tiebreak. But once again, experience made the difference. Stupa and Yanguas won the first set.  7/6
before definitively gaining the upper hand in the second set to conclude:  6/3 .

Coello / Tapia are gaining momentum

World number 1  Arturo Coello / Agustín Tapia  They delivered a much more subdued performance.

Facing  Lucas Campagnolo / Jairo Bautista The “Golden Boys” completely controlled the match. Very solid on serve, ultra-aggressive at the net, and as impressive as ever in attacking transitions, they won easily.  6 / 2 6 / 2 .

A controlled match that confirms their rise in strength in this tournament.

Lebrón / Augsburger confirm their very strong momentum

Finally  Juan Lebrón / Leo Augsburger  continue to impress. Faced with  Paquito Navarro / Fran Guerrero The Spanish-Argentine pair delivered a very serious match without almost ever faltering.

Very aggressive offensively, solid in crucial moments and always dangerous in fast breaks, they prevail:  6 / 3 6 / 2 .

Another great performance that confirms their very positive current momentum.

A dream semi-final in Buenos Aires

The last square of  Buenos Aires P1  now promises two huge posters:

  •  Arturo Coello / Agustín Tapia vs Mike Yanguas / Franco Stupaczuk
  •  Juan Lebrón / Leo Augsburger vs Ale Galán / Fede Chingotto

The four best pairs in the tournament will be present to try and win the title in Argentina.

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
