It is the return of the eye of Cap'tain Fouquet. The Captain of the French team of padel girls, Patrick Fouquet looks back on these first 2 days during this first World Junior for France and this “small miracle with a victory over Brazil".

Patrick Fouquet tells us:

We finished with 2 victories and a first place in our group while we had Brazil. We won't hide it: It's unexpected and the France team can be proud of this victory against one of the great nations of the padel World.

This Wednesday, it will be rest for the girls to recharge the batteries.

Players will however play the Open. But we will have for mission especially to change the ideas, a little bike, fitness, support the boys before Thursday and the resumption of the world with the quarters.

The quarter will certainly play against Mexico. A nation that plays well. And inevitably will be complicated.

Our ambitions have not really changed. We did not know where we were going before the start of the competition. First because we do not know the opposing teams. And then, the team of France is young, it is new and does not really know its strengths.

If we finish 5e of this world, it would be a miracle already. By beating Brazil, we have reached a milestone. And this allows us to play against a second pool. Maybe we will have another miracle.

We remain humble on our way. We do not have a big team with a lot of experience. But everyone wets the shirt. This is the first team in France, with girls who are not so trained.

But they want a lot. And we have absolutely no pressure. The mission is already full.
