Paula Josemaria et Ariana Sanchez regained color yesterday, dominating the final of the Italy Major head and shoulders, against Patty Llaguno et Lucia Sainz. After some checkered results this season, the world number 1s put the church back in the middle of the village by winning the title in just 50 minutes and only dropped one game on the way!

With this new victory - the third in a row in a Major for Josemaria / Sanchez - Magic ari and Dynamite are now only one title away from the record of the Alayeto twins, who won 32 tracks throughout their career. A record which is not far from being equaled by the world number 1s, who will not need only one additional title to do at least as well as the Atomika Twins.

This title further strengthens the desire of the world number 1s to return to the forefront. In fact, after a great start at the start of the season – two titles from the first two tournaments in Riyadh and Doha – Paula and Ariana lost a little on diet, winning only one tournament after that, at Mar Del Plata.

Ultimately, this new Major victory can only do Josemaria / Sanchez good. Especially since, from now on, they must have the record of the Alayeto twins in the viewfinder ! A "exploit” which they will attempt to achieve P2 Genova, where – ultimately – the best players in the world go !
