The work has begun! The construction site of the future MHSC complex Padel & Tennis , carried by the Nicollin group and the MHSC, began this Saturday, July 5. The site, located on the current Marcel Vitou complex in Pérols, will host twelve padel courts and five tennis courts. Opening is expected by the end of the year, or at later in January 2026 .
The MHSC, a multi-sport club
This ambitious rehabilitation aims to transform the Marius Vitou site into a real modern and versatile sports center t. The project includes the creation of a synthetic football pitch for daily use, as well as the complete renovation of the main pitch with natural grass, intended for official competitions. The five tennis courts will also be refurbished, with modernization of the outdoor surfaces and indoor courts.
But the highlight of the project remains the addition of twelve padel courts, ten of which are covered, with a height of more than 12,50 meters, thus providing optimal conditions. As a reminder, the entire project represents an investment of 4 million , financed as part of a 15-year public service delegation (DSP), entrusted to the Nicollin group.
With this new facility, the town of Pérols clearly affirms its ambition: to become one of the major players in padel in France.
Repeated requests
The mayor of Pérols, Jean-Pierre Rico , said he received a lot of requests regarding padel: “I was harassed by requests to set up a padel club. " he said in the newspaper Hérault Tribune . This led to the launch of a call for tenders for a public service delegation for this sports complex, including tennis, padel, and an option for a football pitch. Two applications were received, but the Nicollin group's stood out for the quality of its organization, both functionally and financially.
For his part, Olivier Nicollin also followed the padel trend. In an interview given to The Gazette Live , he declares : "We didn't invent lukewarm water, we read the newspapers, we see that it's a sport that's growing enormously. We logically know a lot of football players, veterans and young people, who have all told us: 'We can't stand playing football anymore, you need at least 14 for a match, so we all took up padel.'"
Following this, the Nicollin group applied for and won the management of this major project.
A friendly club for everyone
Under the direction of Michaël Diaz, the complex is expected to fully open by December 2025, or January 2026 at the latest. Registration for the 2025 season will begin in September, with supervision provided by two new padel instructors, as well as the two tennis coaches already working at the old complex.
To enhance the user experience, the site will also offer a snack area, a friendly terrace and a mobile reservation application, designed to meet the expectations of beginners and competitors alike.
A promising future
With such a complex, the MHSC Padel & Tennis will be able, from its inauguration, to propose and apply to host tournaments such as P1000 et P2000 In the coming years, we can expect Pérols to host circuit tournaments. FIP , and why not, one day, a tournament Premier Padel with the best players in the world.

A suggestion for Padel Magazine has written several articles on the noise pollution of padels: given the noise pollution caused by padels and pickleballs when they are installed near homes, it seems to us that you should systematically describe the conditions of integration into the environment in your publications on Padel Magazine. and in particular aspects related to the prevention of noise pollution.
