Padel Rose is an animation that will take place on October 19 at Padel of La Baule for women in remission from cancer. A very nice initiative carried out by the association “padel pour tous” created in March 2019.
Sophie Gilbert, padel teacher and top French player at the La Baule club, enlightens us on the great projects of Padel Rose.
Can padel really help these suffering women?
We are committed to developing sports practice among women through padel. Our team of volunteers is keen to contribute to the balance and well-being of all.
Faced with the physical transformations and the psychological effects related to the disease, it is important to rediscover pleasant sensations with one's body.
We know, and it's been proven, that the impact of physical activity on this disease is beneficial.
Padel, a good sport to give these women a little courage?
Renowned for its accessibility and user-friendliness, this sport is an excellent vector to offer a time of leisure and pleasure.
Our expectations are staggered in 3 steps
- Start a physical activity for people who are excluded from sport
- continue this activity because it feels good
- to adopt this activity durably
This initiative will evolve?
The project we are conducting is completely new in France. Indeed, it revolves around the creation of a social bond through a new and growing sport.
In the long term, we will try to allow other women to test themselves in joy at padel:
-Women with disabilities
-Women away from employment
-Women abused
- Women entrepreneur
- Development at departmental, regional, national level

Franck Binisti discovered padel at the Club des Pyramides in 2009 in the Paris region. Since then, padel has been part of his life. You often see him touring France to cover major French padel events.
Padel courts are planned in the former WHO building to be rehabilitated, on the IUCT Oncopole site in Toulouse for people recovering from chemo, or as a preventative measure. See the site 'dessine moi Toulouse', the project of the Raynald firm which regularly works with the Pierre Fabre laboratories, I quote: “Finally, a club of Padel will complete the program to offer a sporting activity that benefits everyone. ”
Hello Stéphane, do not hesitate to give us the link or send us to contact@padelmagazine.fr info so we can talk about it. Thank you for the info and have a good evening. Franck
