The finalists of the FIP RISE Bandol, Pol Hernández and Ramiro Valenzuela, will continue their adventure together in 2025, at least for now. In an interview with Brand, Pol Hernández, 65th in the world, spoke about his association with the Argentine, 77th in the world, and about the challenges of a long season for players of their level.
The 20-year-old Spanish player from Granollers explained: "It's normal that at certain times in the season you're more tired and you can't give your best. For me, that's where the difference lies between the players at the top and the bottom of the rankings: they, even if they're not at 100%, know how to manage the competition better and perform better."
Continuity confirmed for 2025
Pol Hernández also spoke about their future: "I've had a few calls this year, and I know Rama has had even more. But we've already confirmed that we'll continue together next year. For now, it's confirmed, but of course, anything can happen."

Satisfactory progress
On his own journey, he is satisfied: "I am satisfied with the level I am at now, progressing step by step without rushing. I am happy with the progress I have made and the way I feel at the moment."
A word about Pablo Cardona
The Spaniard also mentioned his former youth teammate: "I have a very good relationship with Cardona, as we were teammates for many years in the youth category. I am very happy for him. He has had an incredible year, and his progression is impressive. I am very happy with his success."
Finally, on the subject of the nationalization of some players like Jofre and Ayats, Pol Hernández believes:
"It seems totally normal and positive for padel."
