The ladies' final  P2000 Top Padel  turned to the advantage of  Lucile Pothier and Fiona Ligi (TS3) , which prevail against  Kimy Barla and Lou Lambert Agosti (TS4)  on the score of  6 / 3 6 / 2  en   56 minutes .

A final controlled from start to finish, where experience clearly made the difference.

 A gradual increase in power

The match began evenly, with both pairs holding their own in the early games. But quickly,  Pothier is ramping up  and is starting to make a difference, especially in attacking phases.

In the middle of the first set, the pair  Pothier / Ligi  breaks serve, then follows up with a double break to win the set  6/3 .

Ligi on fire, the offensive difference

In the second set, the scenario repeats itself.  Pothier / Ligi take control impose their rhythm and leave no room for anything else.

Fiona Ligi is particularly inspired , stringing together winning shots and bringing the large crowd to its feet. Despite the resistance of  Barla / Lambert Agosti The gap is widening.

The numbers speak for themselves:

  •  59 winning points for Pothier / Ligi against 36
  •  4 break points converted out of 4
  •  0/3 for their opponents

Maximum efficiency in key moments.

A logical title after a big weekend

This success caps off a solid week for  Pothier / Ligi who had nevertheless narrowly avoided elimination in the semi-finals by saving  three match balls  facing TS1.

They then followed up with a perfectly controlled final.

It's their  first title together , and already the  4th P2000 in their careers for each  :

  •  Ligi: 4 titles in 13 finals
  •  Pothier: 4 titles in 6 finals

Barla / Lambert Agosti, a promising debut

Despite the defeat,  Kimi Barla and Lou Lambert Agosti  can retain a lot of positive aspects.

They reached their  first final in P2000 , after having notably eliminated the  2nd seed Denecheau / Majdoubi  in the semifinals.

An interesting progression for a young pair that is rapidly gaining momentum.

 References always present

With this title,  Pothier / Ligi confirm their benchmark status  on the national circuit.

Experience, efficiency and solidity: a cocktail that made the difference in this final.

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
