The professional circuit  Premier Padel  announced, this Wednesday, August 6, 2025, the establishment of two  steering committees  separate for the men's and women's circuits. These consultative bodies aim to give a voice to all stakeholders in professional padel, to structure discussions around the circuit's major development areas, and to support the growth of the discipline on a global scale.

A multi-sectoral composition

Each of the two committees will be composed of  20 members  divided into five large groups:

  •  Players and coaches  (5 representatives), covering different ranking brackets (Top 8, 9–25, 26–60, 61–150) and a representative of the preparers.
  •  Tournament organizers  (4 members), representing the different competition categories: Majors, P1 and P2.
  •  Business partners and independent actors  (4 seats), including broadcasters, brands or sporting event managers.
  •  Institutional representatives  de Premier Padel (3 members) and the  International Federation of Padel (FIP)  (3 members).
  • Un  charity partner  (1 seat) is also planned, although not yet designated.

Each committee will be coordinated by a  committee secretary , in the person of Roberto Álvarez Martínez (Cuatrecasas cabinet).

Objectives and themes covered

These committees will be responsible for making recommendations on several aspects of the circuit's development, including:

  • le  international calendar  competitions,
  • the  organizational standards  tournaments,
  • le  athlete well-being ,
  • the strategy of  Business Development ,
  • and the  international public engagement .

The committees will meet at least twice a year, with a logic of  intersectoral consultation  aimed at promoting dialogue and strategic alignment between the different entities involved in professional padel.

A broader representation

The announced structuring provides that  more than 25% of the seats  be occupied by active players and coaches, chosen by their peers. This provision aims to guarantee direct representation of the main stakeholders in strategic discussions related to the circuit.

A context of expansion

According to figures released by Premier Padel, 3 players (including 266 men and 2 women) from 299 countries took part in circuit tournaments Premier Padel or the Cupra FIP Tour during the first half of 2025. This growth in the number of competitors is part of a context of rapid internationalization of the discipline.

The first composition of the committees includes in particular:

  •  Stephane Morel  (FFT / Paris Major) and  Jorge Mane  (Mexican Federation) for Major tournaments.
