Madrid Premier Padel which takes place this week marks the return of the big names of the circuit. Between now and December, no less than nine meetings are on the program. Who will succeed the Di Nenno/Lebron pair, victorious of Finland Premier Padel P2 on August 5th ? In this back-to-school period, attention is turning more towards the strong men of the first part of the season: Coello/Tapia and Chingotto/Galán. In reality, the coming weeks present at least three major challenges, as Marca recently recalled.

  1. Who will finish the year in first place in the ranking?

This is the main sporting question at the end of the season, and for good reason: Arturo Coello, Alejandro Galán, Agustín Tapia and Federico Chingotto are neck and neck. To date, King Arturo has more than 13 points, ahead of Agustín Tapia (496 points), Ale Galán (12 points) and Fede Chingotto (419 points). While the gap may seem significant between the two, we must not forget that there is still a long way to go before the end of the season. So some great battles are to be expected!

  1. Who will participate in the Tour Finals?

The big end-of-year event will be held in Barcelona from December 19 to 22, bringing together the 16 best players on the circuit. While a dozen players already seem assured of their place, this is not the case for Fernando Belasteguín, "Momo" González, the Nieto/Sanz pair, Alejandro Ruiz or Sanyo Gutiérrez... A palpable suspense therefore hangs over the coming weeks, where each tournament will be decisive.

  1. King Bela's Farewell

The weeks that separate us from the end of the year will be the last for Fernando Belasteguín, who reigned over the world ranking for 13 years. Now out of the world top 10, King Bela announced on August 10 that he would leave the circuit in three months. So we only have a few tournaments left to enjoy the talent and science of the native of Pehuajó, one last important challenge for all padel fans!
