Premier Padel , a professional circuit majority owned by  Qatar Sports Investments , and  Hexagon Cup , team padel competition, joins forces with the  International Federation of Padel (FIP)  to develop the discipline internationally.

An agreement to structure the discipline

The partnership provides for collaboration on several projects.  Premier Padel  et  Hexagon Cup  will promote their respective events, while  Hexagon Cup  begins the process to be recognized as an official tournament of the  FIP . An extension of the circuit  Hexagon Cup , currently limited to a single tournament in Madrid, is also being considered in new countries.

Launch of the FIP Intercontinental Cup

A first project resulting from this agreement is the creation of the  FIP Intercontinental Cup , scheduled for this summer in Europe.  Hexagon Cup  will be in charge of the organization, with the support of  Premier Padel . Details regarding venue and dates will be announced shortly.

 New competition formats

Other initiatives are under consideration, including the development of new tournament formats and events linked to other sports.

Luigi Carraro, President of the FIP , underlines the interest of this partnership:

“By bringing these players together, we are promoting new opportunities for players and strengthening the structure of padel.”

Enrique Buenaventura, founder of Hexagon Cup , evokes the expansion of the circuit:

"This agreement allows the discipline to be developed in regions where the enthusiasm for padel is growing."

David Sugden, CEO of Premier Padel , recalls the common objective:

"This partnership is part of a dynamic of structuring and opening up padel internationally."

With this agreement,  Premier Padel ,  Hexagon Cup  and  FIP  pursue the same objective: to strengthen the place of padel on the world stage.
