Le Genova P2 started this morning in Italy and we already had the right to a Franco-French duel, from the first rotation of the day. On track : Dylan Guichard et Bastien Blanqué found Julien Seurin et Man Vives ! A meeting where the two Toulouse players Padel Club were favorites.

However, if there were an advantage for the Guichard / Blanqué pair on paper, this was not felt on the pitch because the match was played in three tight sets!

Indeed, Dylan and Bastien did not have a very good start to the match, well disturbed by Julien Seurin and Man Vives who were very fit. The Seurin / Vives pair was able to create many more opportunities (8 break points for 3 converted) to take the lead in this round and seize it: 6/2.

Dylan Guichard and Bastien Blanqué woke up in the second round. The trend reversed on the court and, this time, it was up to the TPC players to offer themselves some opportunities (4 break points obtained for 2 converted). Conversely, Julien and Man did not obtain any break points. Return to a set everywhere: 6/2.

The third set was fiercely contested between the two teams. Once again, Man Vives and Julien Seurin did not offer themselves no opportunity to steal commitment from their opponents. Conversely, Dylan and Bastien broke at the best of times and took this set: 7/5.

Bastien Blanqué and Dylan Guichard will play again tomorrow! A big fight awaits them sincethey will be opposed to the 3 seed : Denis Tomas Perino (48) and Pablo Garcia Rodrigo (79).

The day is not over for the French representatives since Thomas Leygue will play tonight at 18h !

Gwenaelle Souyri

It was his brother who one day told him to accompany him on a track. padel, since then, Gwenaëlle has never left the court. Except when it comes to going to watch the broadcast of Padel Magazine, World Padel Tour… or Premier Padel…or the French Championships. In short, she is a fan of this sport.
