Le first tournament of the circuit Premier Padel in saudi arabia is already generating a lot of interest. This time, without much surprise, several players from other circuits are coming to try their luck on this new stage of the international professional circuit.

Among them, Gonzalo Gabriel Alfonso (139th in the world), which will partner with Cristian Gutiérrez (82e). Currently, this pair is listed in 52nd position on the list of registered participants, but registrations are not yet closed. Just behind, we find a well-known pair in France: Johan Bergeron and Bastien Blanqué, who will launch their international season together.

Tolito Aguirre also in the running?

One of the big questions concerns Tolito Aguirre. Will the Argentine player make the trip and, if so, with whom? In general, when one of the two big names of theA1Padel participates in an event, the other is never far away.

It is important to note that if Alfonso takes part in this first stage of Premier Padel, this does not mean a disengagement from A1Padel. Gonzalo Alfonso had also specified: his commitment to the A1 circuit remains intact. Conversely, we also observe certain players of Premier Padel evolve punctually on the circuit A1, which demonstrates a certain fluidity between the two circuits.

Qualifications begin on February 8

The tournament Riyadh, which will take place in less than two weeks, will see the kick-off of the qualifying phases on Saturday February 8, while the Main draw will start on Monday, February 10.

It remains to be seen whether other names will be added to the list and what surprises this first Saudi edition of the Premier Padel.
