L e NO AD PADEL CLUB of Reims hosted a unique event this Monday, March 9th, combining sport, solidarity and commitment : the first edition of Tournament Padel solidary , organized by the association Catch the Ball in collaboration with the Grand Est Tennis League .
Throughout the day, players, sports personalities and corporate sponsors came together around a common goal: putting sport at the service of inclusion and disability In an atmosphere that was both competitive and friendly, the participants took part in this tournament, which marked a first for the association.
At the end of the day, the initiative proved to be a real success. A check for €10,000 was able to be handed over to the association Catch the Ball , in order to support its actions in favor young people with disabilities This is an important contribution that will allow the association to continue its awareness and support projects.
The event was notably sponsored by Jo-Wilfried Tsonga et Robert Pires Two well-known figures in French sport actively support the association's work. Their commitment symbolizes a desire to promote sport. a vector of solidarity and awareness .
Among the day's highlights was the participation of Tony Boval and Sébastien Husser-Walther , French para-padel champions This particularly caught the attention. Their presence on the slopes powerfully reinforced the message conveyed by this initiative: Sport can be a powerful tool for inclusion. .
The day concluded in a prestigious setting at the GH Mumm Champagne House in Reims , partner of this first edition, where participants and organizers were able to celebrate the success of the event together.
Beyond the sporting result or the amount raised, the organizers focus above all on... the collective energy and commitment of all the stakeholders involved to make this first edition a highlight.
A meeting that could well become a long-term affair: A new edition is already being considered for 2027. with the ambition to continue this momentum of solidarity and to mobilize even more people around the padel in the service of inclusion .
