Le 1st departmental padel tournament of Sapeurs-Pompiers du 64 (Pyrenees-Atlantiques) was held on samedi 5 octobre au Central Sports Club from Saint-Pée-sur-Nivelle.
In total, 20 teams (is 40 players) competed throughout the day. The big winners, Guillaume and Andoni Demeyre (father and son) from the rescue center ofAnglet, won the wooden trophy specially created for the occasion!
A big congratulations to them and to all the other participants, who came from the barracks ofAnglet, Saint-Jean-de-Luz,Hendaye, Pau (FR), Navailles-Angos, Cambo-les-Bains, CTA-CODIS, theBiarritz Airport, logistics center, health Service and Prevention service.
Everyone is already eagerly awaiting the date of the2025 edition, hoping that this initiative will inspire the creation of regional tournaments or even national for Sapeurs-Pompiers in the near future!
