Now they are one win away from their first title in Premier PadelAfter one of the most impressive runs of the season, Javi Leal and Fran Guerrero will face Alejandro Galán and Federico Chingotto in the Pretoria P1 final. This final hurdle could see them make history. 

A week already historic

It's hard to imagine a more challenging course.

In the quarter-finals,  Leal and Guerrero  have eliminated  Leo Augsburger and Juan Lebrón , before creating a huge sensation in the semi-final against the world number 1  Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia  (7/5 7/5), bringing their incredible streak to a close  27 consecutive finals .

To win the title, they will now have to beat  Alejandro Galán and Federico Chingotto , second pair in the world.

Join Augsburger and Di Nenno in history

If they win this final, Leal and Guerrero will achieve an extremely rare feat.

They would only become the second pair to successively eliminate the  three best teams in the world  in the same tournament, after  Leo Augsburger and Martin Di Nenno , authors of a similar career path to  Madrid P1 2025 .

An achievement that would immediately rank among the greatest performances in the circuit's recent history.

A comeback after a difficult start to the season

This final is primarily a reward for two players who refused to give up.

For  Fran Guerrero The beginning of the year was particularly difficult. His association with  Paquito Navarro  never found the hoped-for automatic processes and the results did not follow.

On the side of  Javi leal The scenario was equally frustrating. It was supposed to start the season with  paul cardona However, his injury completely disrupted his plans.
