After some excellent qualifying performances,  Thomas Leygue ,  Yoan Boronad  et  Timeo Fonteny  now enter the main table of the  Pretoria P1 The three Frenchmen have a chance, even if they are not the favorites.

In the ladies,  Alix Collombon  et  Ksenia Sharifova  They, on the other hand, will face a much tougher challenge right from the first round.

 Leygue finds Diestro and Sintes 

Teamed up for the first time with the Spaniard  Pablo Sánchez Vicente ,  Thomas Leygue  negotiated the qualifications perfectly.

The Franco-Spanish duo initially dominated  Gonzalo Sassano / Noé Navarro Porras  on the score of  7 / 6 6 / 1 before establishing itself  6 / 4 6 / 4  face  Pepe Aliaga / Adrián Ronco López  in the final round. Two solid victories that allow the Frenchman to reach another main draw after the one he obtained in  Malaga .

For his entry into the main draw, Leygue will face  José Antonio Diestro / Marc Sintes , two players positioned near the  50th place in the world .

On paper, the Frenchman and his partner aren't the favorites. But Leygue has been playing at a very high level for several weeks now, and the draw remains favorable. They'll need to put in a great performance, but qualification is far from impossible.

In the event of an upset, they would advance to the next round.  Martín Di Nenno / Paquito Navarro .

The meeting is scheduled  from 9am on court 2 .

 A real opportunity for Boronad and Fonteny 

 Yoan Boronad  et  Timeo Fonteny  They too arrive with a great deal of confidence.

The two young Frenchmen first eliminated  Borja Trujillo Chang / Marcos Córdoba   7 / 5 6 / 3 , before securing the qualifying performance against  Miguel Lamperti / Iago Fuertes Leonardo  :  6 / 4 7 / 5 .

A landmark victory against the former world number 2 and one of the most promising young players on the circuit.

In the first round, Boronad and Fonteny will face  Antonio Fernández / Ignacio Vilariño , respectively ranked around the  62th and 68th in the world rankings .

Again, the French will not be favorites, but the match seems even more open than the one against Leygue. After the quality they displayed in qualifying, they can clearly believe in a place in the next round.

In the event of a victory, they would regain  José Jiménez / Álex Arroyo .

The match is scheduled for  Fifth rotation starting at 9am on court 3 .

 A very big challenge for Collombon and Sharifova 

In the ladies,  Alix Collombon  will also launch its tournament with  Ksenia Sharifova .

The Franco-Russian pair were not spared by the draw, as they will face [opponent's name] in the first round.  Alejandra Salazar / Aranza Osoro , seeded 8.

A huge challenge awaits against two players accustomed to the later rounds of major tournaments. Collombon and Sharifova will need to deliver a complete performance to hope to create one of the first upsets in the women's draw.

The meeting is scheduled for  Third rotation starting at 14pm on the center court .

Three matches, three different challenges, but the same ambition for the French: to extend their adventure in this first  Premier Padel organized in South Africa .
