Gemma Triay and Delfi Brea won the Premier Padel Pretoria's P1 duo triumphed in an exceptional final against Claudia Fernandez and Martina Calvo (6-2, 6-7, 7-6). Dominant in the first set, the world number ones were then pushed to their limits by the two young Spaniards, who were playing their very first tournament together. A week after Malaga, Triay and Brea once again had to go to a third-set tiebreak to secure their fifth title of the season. 

A one-sided first set

Without necessarily playing at their best level, Gemma Triay and Delfi Brea quickly took control of the final.

Their dominance was once again built on a constant presence at the net and great control in crucial moments. Without needing to force their game, they gradually stifled Martina Calvo and Claudia Fernandez, securing two breaks to close out the first set.  6/2 .

The third set offered a final showdown between the two pairs.

As in Málaga the previous week, Gemma Triay and Delfi Brea relied on their experience in the decisive moments. But perhaps the real revelations of this final were Claudia Fernandez and Martina Calvo. In their first tournament together, the two Spaniards, aged 20 and 18 respectively, competed right to the end with the best players in the world, confirming their immense potential.
