La Pro Padel League 2025 got off to a flying start! It's Miami, in a great atmosphere, the first teams made their mark. New York Atlantics, in women, and the Miami Padel -, in the men's category, leave with the first trophies on the circuit.

New York wins after a high-intensity duel

With an ambitious vision about to Ariana Sánchez exceptional and a Andrea Ustero full of audacity in key moments, the Atlantics dominated the competition. Firstly, they were quick in the semi-final against Castelló/Riera (6/0 6/1), they then delivered a thrilling finale salary. Triay / Brea (Flowrida Goats). Result: a 7/6 3/6 10/7 full of suspense, which gives the New York franchise its first title.

For third place, Las Vegas Smash, led by Sofia Araújo et Marta Ortega, impose themselves by beating Lobo / Saiz (Cancun Waves), 6/4 6/4.

Tapia and Alonso, a shock duo for Miami

In men, it is Agustín Tapia, associated to Eduardo Alonso, who conquered Miami. Despite a timid start, they raised their voice at the right moments. In the semi-finals, they defeated Sanz / Campagnolo (New York Atlantics) after losing the first set: 3/6 6/3 10/6.

In the final, they found Dal Bianco / Ruiz (Cancun Waves), undefeated until then. Trailing 1/6, the Floridians turned the match around with authority (6/3 10/8). A mental victory, in front of their home crowd.

Campagnolo and Sanz (New York) beat Cardona / Augsburger to win bronze, 4/6 6/3 10/4.

General classification after Miami

Thanks to the women's victory and the men's podium, New York Atlantics take the lead with 40 point. Despite their male title, Miami Padel - is only fourth with 30 point, penalized by a more discreet performance on the women's side.

Behind, Cancun Waves et Flowrida Goats are tied with 31 point each. The rest of the standings remain tight, and everything remains to be played for before the next stage.

Next stop: San Sebastian with the world number 1s!

The PPL will move to Europe for the first time, from July 10 to 13 at San Sebastián, in the historic Real Club de Tenis. The event promises to be a success with the already confirmed presence of Wall, Ari Sánchez, Marta Ortega et Jon sanz. Other names will be announced in the coming days.
