Through its victory during the second stage, the Los Angeles BEAT takes control of the Pro Padel League, just ahead of Miami Padel Club, which won during the first stage.
As a reminder, the Miami Padel Club won the first event of the year in their city by defeating the 2023 defending champions, the Las Vegas Smash, by a score of 2-0. In front of a sold-out ULTRA CLUB, the Miami women's duo of Ariana Sanchez and Marta Talavan got their team off to a good start by winning a straight sets victory 7-6 6-3 against Marta Ortega / Alejandra Alonso. Next, Agustin Tapia and Jon Sanz sealed the proceedings by dominating Gonzalo Alfonso and Pablo Carbona with a score of 6-3 6-3. The third place match saw the New York Atlantics dominate the Toronto Polar Bears 2-0.
The second stage saw the Los Angeles BEAT come back very strong. In the final against the Flowrida Goats, the explosive duo Tolito Aguirre / Javi Leal beat Pablo Lijo and Victor Ruiz in straight sets 7-6 6-4. Among the girls, Mapi Alayeto and Aranzazu Osoro snatched the equalizer against Jessica Castello and Eli Amatriain: 3-6 6-2 10-7. It was therefore necessary to have a decisive match which saw Castello/Aguirre dominating Lijo/Osoro. In the match for third, the Arkansas Matrix defeated the Polar Bears in the deciding tiebreak of the mixed doubles!
