Le Premier Padel Madrid P1, the very first tournament of the new official FIP circuit in Spain, started yesterday.

In the first round of the previas, there were four tricolors in the running. Two of them went out the door, while two others will be in the second round of these qualifications today.

Facing Gonzalez Neria (155) / Rodriguez Marquez (146), Johan Bergeron and Thomas Leygue were beaten 7/6 6/2.

Opposed to Fran Alameda (194) and Karlos Rodriguez (216), Bastien Blanqué and the Argentinian Exequiel Mouriño were very diligent, they won 6/3 6/3. The Franco-Argentinian pair will be opposed today to the Spaniards Gonzalez (91) and Melendez (108).

It was more complicated for Max Moreau and the Belgian Maxime Deloyer, who came out in three sets against Araujo (149) / Pozo (135): 6/2 4/6 6/4. They find this Saturday afternoon Matias Nicoletti (120) and Mario Ortega (109).

Note that Jérémy Scatena and Adria Mercadal make their debut this Saturday against Cuesta Gomez (186) / Perez Arbona (157).
