A clash between two French teams will take place tomorrow during the Qatar Major qualifiers! Dylan Guichard et Thomas Leygue opposed in the second round in Doha.
Guichard performs alongside Demian Cuello
Dylan Guichard (137th), associated with the Argentinian Dylan Demian Cuello (188th), won his first round of qualifying in Doha against the Kuwaiti pair Fouad Behbehani (1944th) / Abdulaziz Redha (446th), with a score of 6/1 6/3.

The pair Guichard / Demian Cuello thus qualifies for the second round, where it will face the French Thomas Leygue (104th), associated with the Belgian Clement Geens (92nd), seeded 7.
Leygue and Guichard meet in the second round
Thomas Leygue , French number 1 and triple French champion, will be opposed to Dylan Guichard , second in the French championship in 2024 and third French player. Both, right-wing players, will face each other in the diagonal.
The two Frenchmen know each other well, having already shared the field during the 2024 season, at FIP Finals of Bourg-en-Bresse and in the French team. Two friends who will compete for a place in the third round of qualifying for a major tournament on the circuit Premier Padel .
Guichard also played alongside the Belgian Clement Geens last season, who is the partner of Thomas Leygue for the Qatar Major. The Frenchman therefore knows his opponents perfectly before this match.
A big sports enthusiast and former tennis player, I discovered padel a few years ago without really focusing on it. Then I became addicted to this sport by practicing it and watching the premier padel matches. Looking forward to sharing the 2025 news with you!
