The qualifications of the  FIP Platinum Marseille  started this Monday at  CAP 7 Padel The first day began with a busy and already informative start. From 15 p.m. onwards, the courts hosted numerous matches, with  several Frenchmen in the running , often the day after their participation in the French Interclub Championships. The schedule is demanding, and so is the level of competition.

 Courrin/Pillon: a twist of fate… but it works out 

This is one of the first significant news items of the day.  Nathan Courrin and Lucas Pillon , beneficiaries of a wild-card, qualify without playing after the  package of Salva Oria / Agustín Gutiérrez , yet seeded 2 in qualifying. A  obvious stroke of luck  for the French, who were not favorites on paper, but who took this ticket for the next round without hesitation.

In the next round, they will face  Luis Oliver Artigas / Daniel Luna , winners after a nail-biting finish  Pablo Sánchez Vicente / Adrián Naranjo Martínez  (2/6 7/6 7/6), in a very close match.

 Solid and applied white / Cordoba 

Committed to the Spaniard  Marcos Cordoba ,  Bastien Blanqué  got their tournament off to a perfect start. Facing  Álex Blanco Sollet / Guillermo Fernández Sánchez The Franco-Spanish pair conceded an early break but reacted immediately. Once they broke back, they gradually took control and won.  6 / 3 6 / 4 .

Next round,  big challenge  face  José Solano Marmolejo / Martin Abud , fallers of  Pereyra / Cassetta A match that promises to be very competitive.

 Muesser/Raichman fall with honors 

The draw was cruel, and logic prevailed.  Yanis Muesser and Philémon Raichman  bow down to the number 1 seed  Anton Sans / Mario Huete  on the score of  6 / 3 7 / 6 Despite the defeat, the second set leaves some...  reasons for satisfaction the French having managed to secure a very high-level pair.

 Ligi/Soubrie present in the women's category 

Good news for the women's side:  Fiona Ligi and Charlotte Soubrié  They passed the first round with authority. The French women dominated.  Nura Padilla Tomasa / Irina Ceresuela   6 / 3 6 / 2 , with a serious and controlled match.

They will face the next round  seed 3 in qualifying ,  Blanca Arriola Cerrejón / María Teresa Moriñigo Gómez , a real test.

 Hugounenq / Two stopped 

Less success for  Arthur Hugounenq and Thomas Seux , also a wild card. Facing  Marcel Font / Iago Fuertes Leonardo The French bow down  7 / 6 6 / 3  after a hard-fought first set, but without managing to turn the match around.

 The rest of the day 

Several matches still need to be played on the various courts of CAP 7, notably with  Robert / Boronad ,  Guichard / Geens  or the big duel  Seurin / Vanbauce vs Joris / Vives .
