Federico Chingotto is not only one of the most formidable players on the tour, he is also, apparently, a real joker! In a clip recently shared on social media, the Argentinian decided to gently prank his teammate in the national team Agustín Tapia…calling him for no apparent reason.
The tone is set from the first second.
“Oh, the nugget answered me super quickly!”, Chingotto says enthusiastically as he picks up the phone. Tapia, a little surprised, is clearly expecting an announcement or some important news. And yet...
"I was just calling to wish you a very good night and that you sleep well."
A silence.
" For what ? », Tapia replies, disconcerted.
Chingotto, laughing, retorts:
"Nothing, I'm being affectionate, man. I just wanted to say goodnight and tell you to get some rest. Because I love you."
Touched (or amused), Tapia concludes with a little laugh:
"Thanks, buddy. A hug. Bye."
This unusual scene, full of tenderness and humor, perfectly reflects the complicity of the two partners in the Argentinian national team. Between the pressure of tournaments and repetitive training, a little lightness never hurts. And in this game, “The Rat” Chingotto seems to have a hidden talent for surprise calls.

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
