You are a player padel and want to participate in men's tournaments: it's possible. However, your women's ranking will be converted into a men's ranking according to the equivalence table set up by the French Tennis Federation.
The rule :
- Ladies may be allowed to participate in certain men's tournaments.
- In this case, a pair may be composed of two players, one player and one player, or two players.
The equivalence table
LADIES Ranking | GENTLEMEN equivalence |
---|---|
Between 1 and 10 FFT | + 400 among the Gentlemen |
Between 11 and 30 FFT | + 1000 among the Gentlemen |
Between 31 and 60 FFT | + 2000 among the Gentlemen |
Between 61 and 100 FFT | + 3500 among the Gentlemen |
Between 101 and 200 FFT | + 10 among the Gentlemen |
Between 201 and 500 FFT | + 15 among the Gentlemen |
Between 501 and 1000 FFT | + 25 among the Gentlemen |
Between 1001 and 2000 FFT | + 35 among the Gentlemen |
Between 2001 and 3000 FFT | + 45 among the Gentlemen |
3001 and + FFT | + 50 among the Gentlemen |
Unclassified Ladies | Not classified among Gentlemen |
Example:
A player ranked 23rd in France will be ranked 1 (023 + 23) in the men's ranking. This ranking of 1 will be used to calculate the weight of the pair.
Please note:
For mixed events where only mixed pairs consisting of a woman and a man are authorized, there is no point in using these equivalences. The weight of the pair will simply be the sum of the rankings of the player and the player in their respective rankings.
