While the  French Championships  approaching (September 19-21), some French players have chosen to line up on the international circuit. The major event is at  FIP Platinum Seville , with three French representatives.

Collombon and Godallier present

In Seville,  Alix Collombon (25)  will be associated with the Spanish  Araceli Martinez (25) Seeded 9, they will start against  Laura Lujan (58)  et  Letizia María Manquillo Alarza (56) .
 Lea Godallier (59)  will play with  Esther Carnicero (57)  against a pair from the qualifiers.

The two French women are not among the favorites to aim for the  Platinum Final . In case of elimination before the last four, they should be able to return in time to play the  French Championships But if they miraculously manage to reach the final on Saturday, a real question would arise: should they focus on the national title, or try to win the  300 FIP points  offered to the winner of a Platinum?

Detriviere close to the main board

In qualifying,  Amélie Detriviere (204)  and the Spanish  Teresa Casero de la Casa (277)  passed their first round 2/6 6/3 6/3 against  Michela Zaccagnini (203)  et  Maria del Carmen Gallego Castaño (227) . Exempted from the next round, they will play their place in the main draw against  Maria Delgado Medina   (216)  et  María Arteaga Vilches   (413) .

For its part,  Kamel Mouinen (449) , associated to  Sergio Alba (189) , failed to get past the first round, beaten 6/2 6/3 by  Hugo Jiménez Reina (603)  et  Diego Lopez Avilés (2450) .

A French woman in Lisbon

Finally, on the  FIP Silver Lisboa , we find  Laura Buteau (202) , accompanied by the Brazilian  Helena Rousselet Novillo (218) . Buteau, she is not present at the French championships.
