Padel continues to structure itself in France, and the French Tennis Federation now offers a  full range of competitions , for all ages, all levels and all forms of practice. Here is an overview of the different existing events:  in pairs ,  by teams  ou  in individual tournaments .

 1. Pairs Championships 

 Youth Category 

  •  U12  (girls and boys): departmental and/or regional championships,  not qualifying for the French championships .
  •  U14, U16 and U18  : departmental and/or regional championships  qualifiers for the French championships .
  • The  French championships  young people concern the categories  U14, U16 and U18 , girls and boys.

 Seniors Category 

  • Championships  departmental and regional , ladies and gentlemen,  qualifiers for the French championships .
  •  Senior French Championships , ladies and gentlemen.

 Seniors Plus Category 

  • Championships  + 45 years  : departmental and/or regional  qualifiers for the French championships .
  • Championships  + 55 years  : departmental and/or regional  not qualifying for the French championships .
  • French Championships  + 45 years , ladies and gentlemen.

 2. Team, interclub or interleague championships 

 Competitions managed by committees 

  • Team Championships  departmental .

 Competitions managed by leagues 

  • Team Championships  regional , including the  Regional Division 1 Seniors , qualifying for interregional conferences.

 Competitions managed by the FFT 

  •  Interregional conferences  (East and West), qualifying for the  National division 2 .
  •  French National Division 2 Championships  : 16 men’s teams, 8 women’s teams.
  •  French National Division 1 Championships  : 16 men’s teams, 8 women’s teams.
  •  French Interleague U12 Championships  : each league team is made up of  2 pairs for boys and 1 pair for girls .

 3. Individual tournaments 

Tournaments can be organized by the  FFT, leagues, departmental committees or affiliated clubs , provided that the structure has at least  an approved track  declared in the Federal Administrative Base.

 Please note  : any temporary track must be subject to prior validation by the league or the committee.

  • P25
  • P100
  • P250
  • P500
  • P1000
  • P1500
  • P2000

Each category is differentiated by the  number of points distributed  and/or by the  prize money .

Some tests:

  •  select the pairs  according to the ranking;
  •  allow the participation of female players  in men's events, according to the rules defined by the FFT.

 Important Notes 

  • All championships  in pairs  et  by teams  are taken into account in the  FFT ranking calculation , depending on the level of competition.
