We are entering the second half of the year on the international circuit and France will once again be highlighted by the end of the season. Until December, France will host three major tournaments. As a reminder, two international tournaments have already taken place in 2024: the Bordeaux Premier Padel P2 et the FIP Rise Bandol.
A quick reminder of the last tournaments of the year in France.
Greenweez Paris Major
Le Greenweez Paris Major is the next tournament that will take place in France. This third Major will take place from September 28 to October 6 at the legendary Roland Garros, Porte d’Auteuil.
This is probably one of the most anticipated moments for all padel fans! On the Philippe Chatrier court, where a certain Rafael Nadal made history, the best players in the world will compete to try to win the title... and the 2.000 points up for grabs.
So who will succeed Coello/Tapia in the men's category and Sanchez/Josemaria in the women's category?
FIP Gold Lyon
The week after Paris, France will once again be in the spotlight and, this time, it is a FIP Gold that will take place in Lyon. A FIP Gold is the second most important category on the FIP circuit, behind the FIP Platinum.
The competition will take place from 8 to 13 October in Lyon, at Palais des Sports de Gerland in Lyon . Players are invited to this tournament!
For the very first time, the City of Lights will host an international padel tournament…
Cupra FIP Final Bourg-en-Bresse
Last year, Bourg-en-Bresse hosted its very first FIP Rise… This year, the competition is evolving since, from 11 at 15 december , the Ain prefecture will host the Cupra FIP Finals!
This tournament will close the FIP circuit season… and it will be the last tournament to take place in France in 2024. 16 Best Men's and Women's Pairs will be expected on the slopes.
The Cupra FIP Finals Grand Bourg will be the best way to end the year!
It was her brother who one day told her to accompany him to a padel court, since then, Gwenaëlle has never left the court. Except when it comes to going to watch the retransmission of Padel Magazine, World Padel Tour… or Premier Padel…or the French Championships. In short, she is a fan of this sport.
