The new generation of French padel is asserting itself with promising young talents like Yoan Boronad, Jérémy Robert, Timéo Fonteny and Lucas Pillon. Between victories in P1000, international ambitions and training in Spain, these under-18 players are laying the foundations for a solid future for French padel.

Ambitions for 2025

Aged 17 and licensed at Padel Club du Mas in Perpignan,  Yoan Boronad  is ranked 12th French player and is part of the French junior team. With his partner  Timeo Fonteny  (14e) ,  French junior champions from 2021 to 2024, they decided to go and train in Spain in order to progress. In July 2024, the two Frenchmen won the  P1500 from Bandol  in the Var. Their 2025 season will begin with the  N1 with the Club du Mas in Strasbourg , followed by two tournaments at  Réunion  (Meeting Padel Club and the Oasis).

First title in P1000

Coming from the 2008 generation,  Jeremy Robert  (35th) and member of the club  All In Padel 69 , won the P1000 My center Palavas in August 2024 with his partner  Olivier Guy de Chamisso  (42nd), also aged 16. Last September, Robert assured that he had the ambition to enter  the top 30  and aim  The french team .

 Tom Basso  (40th) also trains at  all in Padel 69  in Décines-Charpieu. With his partner Damien Bayard, they landed the P1000 Open UrbanPadel Clermont with a victory in the final against  Olivier Guy de Chamisso  et  Jeremy Robert . And in early December, he won the P1000 of Padel House Bordeaux with  Olivier Guy de Chamisso , licensed by the TC Bailly Noisy Le Roi club in the  Yvelines .

Finally,  Lucas Pillon  (82nd), Tennis licensee Padel Saint-Astier in  Dordogne , reached the semi-final of the P1000 Cedars in Castres with his partner  Raphael Rubio  against the pair  Jeremy Robert /  Tom Basso . With six players from  Less than 18 years old  in the French top 100, the next generation of  French padel  is assured for a few years.
