La Spanish Federation of Padel, FEP, knows its new president. Ramón Morcillo succeeds Alfredo Garbisu and should bring something new to the padel Iberian.

Following 4 years of presidency of Alfredo Garbisu, appreciated by some, contested by others, it is the president of the League of Extremadura who takes the seat of president of the FEP.

An arrival at the highest post of padel Spanish in a really delicate period for this sport; health conditions complicating the realization of tournaments and circuits, clubs not necessarily at their best financially, political clashes between federations and organizations of the padel European / global… Mr. Morcillo has his work cut out for him.

One thing is certain, it is that the relations between Spain and the International Federation of Padel should improve, as President Carraro's message proves.

“I would like to congratulate Ramón Morcillo on this election and wish him, on my behalf, that of the FIP and the whole community of padel international, welcome. Welcome to this person who has shown throughout his sporting career at the institutional level, to be a lover of this sport with a great sense of institutions and a great balance.

I have had the pleasure during these last years to share discussions with Mr. Morcillo who has shown his intentions to work hand in hand with the FIP, and I believe that the work and the union of all countries with the International Federation will help wear the padel to the highest and to make it ever stronger.

The union of forces will give positive effects for everyone. We wish once again a welcome, a good job in perspective and we inform that the doors of the FIP remain open to Ramón Morcillo as for all the national federations of the world of padel. "
