Clarification on the concept of a “tennis” and/or “padel” club

When the FFT mentions a tennis and/or padel clubThis refers to to the nature of the installations :

  • un “tennis & padel” club has tennis courts and padel courts
  • un exclusively tennis club does not have padel courts
  • un exclusively padel club only has padel courts

In what cases can I change my padel affiliation?

  • Only players licensed with a “Multi-Raquettes” license in a club that is “exclusively tennis” or “tennis & padel” can be linked to a padel club different from their tennis club.
  • Licensed players "Padelor “Multi-Rackets” in a padel-only club wishing to progress in team matches for another club must perform a change of club, in accordance with FFT Sporting Regulations :

Note: only one club per activity is allowed.

A player can:

  • play in team tennis matches for Club A
  • play in padel team matches for Club B,
including if this Club B is located in another League

In that case :

  • the padel club (club B) is the only one taken into account for:
    • qualification for the padel team championships
    • qualification for the pairs championships
