As part of the development of padel in France, the French Tennis Federation (FFT) is looking for a high-level padel manager.  Stephanie Cohen-Aloro , FFT padel director, explains to us the issues and expectations surrounding this recruitment.

 Why is the FFT recruiting a high-level padel manager today? 

 Stephanie Cohen-Aloro:  This recruitment is in line with the work accomplished with Benjamin Tison and his teams, in particular with our four sports referents (Frédéric Pommier, Élodie Invernon, Yann Auradou and Nicolas Trancart), as well as Alexia Dechaume Balleret for the training of young people. We also have the support of our two captains of the French teams, Pablo Ayma and Robin Haziza, without forgetting Alain Solvès, who accompanies us on a daily basis.

In just over a year, we have laid solid foundations to structure the support of high-level players and prepare the opening of the national padel training center in Vichy. Today, we want to go further by recruiting a profile capable of amplifying this dynamic and supporting our talents towards the world elite.

 What will be the main challenges of this position? 

 Stephanie Cohen-Aloro:  The first challenge is to continue the work initiated, in particular by consolidating the high-level sector and offering optimal support to our best players. It is essential to strengthen the visibility and attractiveness of French padel for better integration into the international circuit.

The management of the national training center in Vichy will also be a pillar of the position. The future manager will have to ensure effective coordination between the coaches, the leagues and the federation in order to guarantee structured and efficient development.

 What profile are you looking for for this position? 

 Stephanie Cohen-Aloro:  We are looking for a person with high-level expertise, with a detailed knowledge of padel and its ecosystem. This person must be able to drive sports performance, support and manage their teams towards excellence, while working closely with clubs and federal authorities.

International experience is a real asset, as is mastery of English and some knowledge of Spanish, which are essential for keeping up with developments in the professional circuit.
