La Berger's disease IgA nephropathy, or chronic kidney disease, remains largely unknown to the general public. Yet this chronic kidney disease affects thousands of people and, to date, lacks a treatment. of no curative treatment .
Faced with this observation, Antoine , himself affected by this condition, decided to transform his personal struggle into a collective project. In 2026, he will launch the Deer Padel Tour a national initiative combining sport, health and solidarity , driven by a rapidly expanding sport: the paddle .
A symbolic route on a national scale
Le Deer Padel Tour 2026 will take the form of a series of tournaments organized in several French cities. The project's originality lies in one key element: each movement will be recorded via a precise GPS track. Once the entire route is completed, this track will draw the silhouette of a kidney on the map of France .
A powerful visual symbol, designed to draw attention and make visible a disease which, by its nature, is not.
Raising awareness and supporting research
The project pursues two clear objectives:
- sensitize the general public to Berger's disease and, more broadly, to chronic kidney diseases.
- Fundraising to support medical research, prevention and patient support.
A Kidney Health Village at every stage
Each step may be accompanied by a Kidney Village Health , a true information and prevention space open to the public.
This village will notably offer:
- A community hub with the presence of patient associations (local or national), volunteers trained in raising awareness and the distribution of educational materials.
- A local medical stand , with the possible participation of nephrologists, dieticians specializing in kidney health, dialysis nurses or committed pharmacists.
- Accessible animations , such as quizzes, practical workshops (reading food labels, kidney prevention), information on screening and organ donation, as well as simple tests (blood pressure, BMI).
- The distribution of an educational booklet entitled “Understanding my kidneys” .
Transparent management of donations
Donations will be collected via the platform Payasso (Mutual Credit) guaranteeing transparency, traceability and security. The funds will be donated to the association Deer Padel Tour , then redistributed to partner associations involved voluntarily in the project.
Un accountant supports the initiative to ensure rigorous and compliant management, also enabling the tax deduction for donations .
A project already supported by many padel stakeholders
The Kidney Padel Tour is already starting to rally support around him:
- Padel Mag will support the project as a media partner.
- Padel Mon amour will be involved in the Lyon stage.
- Cupra will support the Nancy stage.
- Inspiration Padel designed a official t-shirt , the profits of which will be donated to the Kidney Padel Tour.
- Playciz will be a partner on the Montpellier stage.
- Un Espaitec's is in preparation on Spotify with the Nephro Social Club hosted by Dr. Anthony Corchia .
- Marie-Amelie Dardaine , player French top 8 will accompany Antoine on a large part of the process to offer padel challenges and increase the visibility of the project.
Further partnerships and support are expected in the coming weeks.
A call to join the adventure
The project leader is currently looking for:
- Amateur and professional players wishing to engage in a solidarity-based approach.
- Sponsors and partners sensitive to public health issues.
- An automotive partner to support travel along the entire route.
- A hosting partner to support the project leader at each stage.
- Media relays in order to give national visibility to this unprecedented initiative.
Le Deer Padel Tour 2026 It is shaping up to be a project that is at once sporting, human and committed, where padel becomes a true vehicle for raising awareness and solidarity.
