La  Reserve Cup Marbella 2025  made a lasting impression with its first edition held in Europe. From September 18 to 20, more than  8 000 spectators  attended a unique show at the facilities of the  Puente Romano (Roman Bridge) , With a  total prize money of $500,000  and an innovative team format that won over players and the public.

Team Reserve wins against Team Marbella

The event, imagined by the American businessman  Wayne boich , brought together several of the world's best players.

  •  Team Reserve  : Arturo Coello, Alejandro Galán, Coki Nieto, Pablo Cardona, Javier Garrido, José Antonio Diestro, Maxi Sánchez and Lucas Campagnolo, with Jimmy Butler as captain and Juan Martín Díaz as coach.
  •  Team Marbella  : Agustín Tapia, Juan Lebrón, Franco Stupaczuk, Mike Yanguas, Javier García, Javier Barahona, Juanlu Esbrí and Xisco Gil, led by Joaquín Sánchez (captain) and Maxi Grabiel (coach).

After three days of competition,  Team Reserve  won the final victory and pocketed  160 000 dollars , While  Team Marbella  has received  80 000 dollars .

Coki Nieto wins the Race Reserve Cup Series

Beyond the tournament, the  Race Reserve Cup Series 2025  – which combined the results of Miami and Marbella – saw  Coki Nieto  to win first place. The Spanish player received a check for  66 000 dollars , before  Arturo Coello  ($ 36).

A Pro-Am with a record prize fund

Before the professional competition, a  Pro-Am  brought together the 16 players involved and several amateurs. The concept, which combines a professional and an amateur, resulted in a victory for former player Maty Marina alongside the American businessman  Mark Groussman The duo shared an award of  40 000 dollars , an unprecedented endowment for this type of format.
