Jérôme Bécasset, the assistant referee of these French Championships, looks back on this big week:
“We must underline the impeccable performance of the FFT, the PACA League, and the Aix-en-Provence Country Club. We were promised an exceptional event, and that is exactly what was offered to the more than 250 young competitors and their chaperones.
The facilities, the staff, the volunteers and the federal organization were all of an exceptional level, unanimously agreeing: these were the best French championships ever organized!
Although the format of the competitions (teams, pairs) for the different categories will be quickly studied for the next edition, it will be difficult to surpass the reception and organizational conditions that were proposed this year.”
