For their first round, they will have to face a good pair: Lorena Rufo (20th in the world), Collombon's former partner, and Lara Arruabarrena (49th in the world). This first match seems balanced on paper between the pair number 14 and 16 of the tournament.

Rufo partners Arruabarrena this season to take advantage of his experience on the circuit, but Collombon and Martinez could benefit from their continuity and experience together, an asset that their opponents have not yet had time to develop.
