The Riyadh P1 qualifications start today with two French players in the men's draw and a French player in the women's draw.

At men's

Dylan Guichard (118), associated with the Belgian Clement Geens (95), will face a local pair benefiting from a wild card, Hussain Almiaraj (NC) and Sattam Alshahrani (359). A seemingly affordable match. They will play in the second 10am rotation on the central court. In case of victory, the Frenchman and the Belgian will play the top seed in the qualifications Guillermo Collado Losada and Javier Martinez.

For its part, Thomas Leygue (96) teams up with the Italian Alvaro Montiel Caruso (102). They will face the Spaniards Jose David Sanchez (105) et Jorge Ruiz (99), an experienced pair on the circuit, the match seems balanced on paper. The match is scheduled for the second rotation of 10am on court 3. The winner will play the 6th seed Mario Ortega and Fran Ramirez Navas.

In women

Léa Godallier (58) will try to qualify for the main draw alongside the Spanish Sandra Bellver Fructuoso (52). They are seeded 4 qualifications and will enter against Marta Arellano Navarro (71) et Laura Lujan Rodriguez (71), not before 13 p.m. on court 3.

With the reduction in the number of teams in the main tables of Premier Padel, Léa Godallier, who was used to entering directly into the final table, must now go through the qualifications to try to reach the big picture.

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
