La  French Alix Collombon  (30th), associated with the Spanish Araceli Martinez  (27th), could not do anything against the  world number one pair Sanchez/Josemaria  (1), in the eighth finals of the  Riyadh P1  in Saudi Arabia.

On the  central court , the gap was too big to hope to bring down the favorites.  Collombon and Martinez  only scored one game in the entire match:  6 / 1 6 / 0 .

 Missed opportunities 

From the first set, the pair  Franco-Spanish  has obtained opportunities for  unbreak  in the second game. But missed opportunities allowed  Sanchez and Josemaria  to continue on a  5-0 . At times,  Alix Collombon  managed to  destabilize  his opponents by varying his game, but  Araceli Martinez  made too many mistakes to hope to compete. Despite a few  long exchanges , the score is clear.

 A game for honor!  

On the service of  Colombon , the battle was tough to avoid a double  6/0  . Finally, the Franco-Spanish pair manages to snatch a game and returns to  5/1  in the first set, before  Sanchez / Josemaria  does not conclude the first round  6/1 .

Le  second set  quickly turns to the advantage of the favorites.  Collombon and Martinez  fail to obtain  the slightest break point , leaving  Sanchez and Josemaria  to impose oneself without difficulty  6/0 .

A match which nevertheless lasted a little less than an hour, which shows that, despite a harsh score, the encounter was a bit disputed.

For  Collombon/Martinez , this first competition remains positive, with a first  eighth finals  to start the year on the  professional circuit .
