The male table of the  FIP Bronze Marnes  The French continue to smile. After hard-fought quarter-finals, there is still more to come.  two French pairs in contention  before the semi-finals:  Maxime Forcin / Arthur Hugounenq  and young people  Jeremy Robert / Olivier Guy de Chamisso .

 Hugounenq / Forcin overturn Vanbauce / Pillon 

It was one of the big quarter-finals of the day and he did not disappoint.  Arthur Hugounenq  et  Maxime Forcin  secured their place in the semi-finals after a huge battle against  Thomas Vanbauce / Lucas Pillon  :  6/7(2) 6/4 6/3 .

However, the match had started perfectly for Vanbauce and Pillon, who had been very solid since the beginning of the tournament. They won a hard-fought first set in a tie-break before seeing their opponents gradually gain momentum.

The key to the match? One  Arthur Hugounenq very offensive , particularly dominant with his smash in crucial moments. On the other side, Vanbauce and Pillon began to commit more unforced errors as the match progressed, allowing Forcin and Hugounenq to gain the upper hand both physically and mentally.

The two Frenchmen are having a tremendous tournament. Right from the first round, they had already upset the 9th seed.  Nieto Simon / Candelo Casas before dominating  Panken / Marquet  in the eighth round and then to take down Vanbauce / Pillon, who were among the most in-form French pairs in the tournament.

In the semi-finals, they will face the third seed.  Nicolas Zurita / Samuel Rivas Garcia , winners of  Jérôme Inzerillo / Victor Choppe  on the score of  6 / 1 7 / 5 .

 Robert/Guy de Chamisso continue to impress 

Another very strong French performance: that of  Jeremy Robert  et  Olivier Guy de Chamisso .

The two young Frenchmen continue their superb run after dominating the Dutch  Kai Groen / Mats Groen , seeded 11th, with a net score of  6 / 1 6 / 3 .

They were already impressive in the round of 16 with their victory against the 8th seed.  Gonzalez Zamorano / Guerrero Escarcena They confirm, match after match, the full potential of their partnership.

They also benefited from the withdrawal of the number 1 seed before the tournament to open up the draw, but their level of play since the beginning of the week is clearly impressive.

In the semi-final, they will face the fourth-seeded Spanish team.  Juan Zamora Perez / Alejandro Garcia Calahorro .

 Tison and Maigret come very close to another exploit 

After their huge performance in the round of 16 against  Blanqué / Boronad ,  Benjamin Tison  et  Adrien Maigret  came very close to another very big deal.

The two Frenchmen were defeated by the Spanish.  Juan Zamora Perez / Alejandro Garcia Calahorro  after a big fight:  4/6 6/3 7/5 .

Tison and Maigret won the first set and put the young Spaniards under considerable pressure. But the latter rallied in the second set before breaking quickly in the deciding set.

As is often the case in this tournament, Tison and Maigret never gave up. They came back to level the score before finally succumbing at 5-5 in the third set.

Despite the defeat, the two Frenchmen had a tremendous tournament after their strong performance in the round of 16 and came very close to another upset in the quarter-finals.
