Was it Robin Haziza was the future captain of the French team of padel ladies in 2020?

After the announcement of the players invited to come to the very large gathering of the French team of padel gentlemen to El Padel Club in Lille, we realized that a person was missing in particular on the men's side: Robin Haziza.

Robin Haziza: An assumed ambition

If the French player has a very rich news, among men, almost everyone has responded for next April at the rally set up by the FFT and orchestrated by Thierry Pham, the manager in charge of the high level padel.

Almost all, except Robin Haziza. After a great victory at Casa Padel a week ago alongside his official partner in France Adrien Maigret, we can't help but remember the words he said during the Master World Padel Tour in Barcelona last December:

I may be less focused on the field in 2020. I will continue to participate in some events of the World Padel Tour, in French and Catalan tournaments, but at the same time there are many projects being set up.

For the past few weeks, we have known that the former captain of the France ladies team, Patrick Fouquet will not continue the adventure in 2020 with the girls. For the moment, Alexis Salles is still on the men's shortlist.

Robin Haziza had also assumed the fact that becoming captain again "in the ladies or in the boys" could interest him. However, he added that it depended on the partner with whom he was going to play in France. Indeed, if Robin becomes captain, he will no longer be able to apply as a player of the French team of padel gentlemen.

An experience that speaks for itself

In 2016, Robin Haziza had already been the captain of the France team of padel among the ladies for the world championship which took place in the Netherlands.

As a player of the World Padel Tour and the French team of padel gentlemen, his extensive experience in the field, especially through his former club padel in Sophia Antipolis, le Real Padel Club, and its attraction for coaching, we may be wrongly predicting that Robin will be the future captain of the French women's team in 2020.

He had already shone in Sweden 4 years ago. If confirmed on March 13 by the FFT, he will have the chance to become captain of a very competitive French team, of which Patrick Fouquet will have been one of the main craftsmen.
