As part of the press conference of the Bullpadel Show , Robin Haziza spoke to Téo Vieau on the second edition of the exhibition tournament , which will take place on June 20 and 21 in Juan-les-Pins .
A natural reconversion after a successful career
Teo : People know you as the director of the Bullpadel Show, but before that you had a great playing career.
Robin : It's nice of you to say "before", because it's true that it goes back! Until 2019 , I was a member of the French team. I was seven times French champion with Jérémy Scatena . I have participated in many European and World Championships . Today I am captain of the French women's team , and I took the turn of the organization: after having set up the World Padel Tour Toulouse in 2022 and 2023, I am now devoting myself to Bullpadel Show , while remaining very active in the padel industry.
A sport in full expansion
Teo : How do you see the evolution of padel in France and internationally?
Robin : We can only be satisfied with the craze . It's not just a fad, it's a real social phenomenon Padel has become a staple in homes and families. Each new club attracts a very diverse audience. On the amateur side, lots are full , and we lack of infrastructure We're still far behind our Italian neighbors, and even behind Belgium in terms of the number of courts! So yes, the future of padel in France looks very positive.
Du World Padel Tour au Bullpadel Show
Teo : You've moved from organizing the WPT to an exhibition event. Why this change?
Robin : It is linked to a failure , that of not having kept the WPT stage. When Premier Padel took over the rights to the pro circuit, we thought we would be there for the long term... but it's finally Bordeaux which was chosen. We bounced back with a idea born from the WPT itself : in 2023, we organized an exhibition match with Tony Parker, Robert Pirès and other celebrities. 500 people came, just for this match! We said to ourselves: “What if we had an event that brought together padel stars and showbiz stars?” This is how the Bullpadel Show , with the support of 06 Department and our partner Bullpadel . Today, we are preparing the second edition .

A return to the pro circuit in the future?
Teo : Can we imagine seeing you again on a project linked to the professional circuit?
Robin : In France, there is Roland Garros , Bordeaux …is that a third tournament Is it possible? Italy had three, it lost one this year. It will all depend on the strategy Premier Padel . In any case, the French Riviera would be a perfect setting . I often think of Monte-Carlo and its tennis tournament. Here in Juan-les-Pins, we have a equally prestigious setting . For now, we prefer focus on a public event , family-oriented, festive, far from pure competition. And with our contract three years with the department, we already have 2026 in sight to develop other ideas.
A 2025 edition in the colors of women's padel
Teo : This second edition puts more emphasis on women, doesn't it?
Robin : Yes, it was a last year's promise : do even better. And what the public wants is very high level padel This year, we welcome Bea González et Claudia fernandez , in addition to male stars Paquito , Di Nenno , Chingotto et Tello the French ambassadors Bullpadel , Bastien Blanqué et Julien Seurin , will also be present to offer a real high-end exhibition match .

But we also keep our show spirit : Redouane Bougheraba , Jarry , Richard Orlinsky , Ophélie Meunier et Laura Boulleau will be captains. And to go further in highlighting women, we are organizing the Friday the MGallery Ladies' Cup : 40 business leaders from the Côte d'Azur will participate in a special moment with the pro players and captains. A true celebration of padel… and summer.
Teo : The appointment is made: June 20 and 21 , here in Juan-les-Pins, for a 2025 edition of the Bullpadel Show which promises to be exceptional!
