FIP tournaments are multiplying this week on the international circuit, with mixed fortunes for the French players involved. The stages of  Roeselare ,  Just like  et  Castellon  offer a contrasting panorama.

FIP Silver Roeselare: Mixed results in qualifying

Unfortunately, Q2 proved fatal for  Alexander Brym  and the Belgian Arnaud Jadoul, beaten by the Spanish TS4 in a one-sided match 6/0 6/2, as well as for  Loris Morvan  and the Hungarian Oliver Geresi, who fell to a local pair after a close match 4/6 6/1 4/6.

The good news comes from the TS6, which consists of  Romain Sichez  and Belgian Jerome Peeters, who won 5/7 6/3 6/3 and will play this evening against the Belgian pair Barbieux / Verraghen, who defeated them in Q1.  Bilal Duprat  et  Kamel Mouimen .

The main draw will begin tomorrow with many French players already guaranteed a spot:

  •  Adrien Maigret  et  Olivier Guy de Chamisso  will face the Dutch TS8 Prins / De Kroon
  •  Bastien Blanqué  et  Nicolas Rouanet  will also face a Dutch pair, Du Pree / Van Dijk
  •  Yanis Muesser  et  Nathan Courrin  will have to get rid of the wild card from the flat country Lambrechts / Meessen
  •  Johan Bergeron  et  Benjamin Tison  will be facing qualifiers

The tournament begins tomorrow with the round of 16:

  •  Lou Lambert-Agosti  et  Kimy Barla  will enter against the Germans Blaschke / Ermann
  •  Manon Marcarie  et  Clara Mansart  will they face the local pair De Vleeschouwer / Basile

FIP Silver Como: a great day to validate

The main draw begins today with the round of 16.  Dylan Guichard  et  Timeo Fonteny  They won 7-5, 6-3 against Spanish qualifiers. They will play the Nordic pair tomorrow.
Rutgersson / Lilleøre madsen. It also works for  Yoan Boronad  et  Jeremy Robert  6/2 6/4, they will face the Spanish TS2 Marques Berdonce / Romera Barcelo tomorrow.  Thomas Vanbauce  et  Julien Seurin  They are expected to play in the early evening against the Spanish TS5 team Aliaga / Garcia Trabanco to try and secure a 100% French victory.

On the women's side,  Marie-Amelie Dardaine  et  Steffi Merrah TS8, will enter directly tomorrow in the 8th against Giaquinta / De La Casa.

FIP Bronze Castellón II: Bernard/Rubio makes it through

It's through to Q2 for  Quentin Bernard  et  Raphael Rubio  Facing the pair 10 after a close match 6/4 6/7 7/5, they will play their Q3 today against the Spanish TS3 Martinez Perez / De Miguel Nicolau.

A huge sports enthusiast in general, I started with football, while also taking up swimming and then archery. When I stopped playing football, I wanted to find a new sport, with the main criterion being that I would enjoy it. After trying padel for the first time two years ago, this sport really clicked for me thanks to the fun I had (and shared!) on the court.
