World padel will make its grand return to Roland-Garros from September 7th to 13th, 2026, on the occasion of  Alpine Paris Major 2026 After several successful editions, the Parisian tournament continues its rise to prominence and establishes itself as one of the major events on the circuit and perhaps even the most sensational in the world.

As Roland-Garros approaches, anticipation surrounding the Parisian tournament next September continues to grow.

Featuring the best players in the world, night sessions on Philippe-Chatrier court, and an atmosphere designed like a  a true festival Paris further confirms its status as a stronghold of world padel.

 Roland-Garros, a unique setting for padel 

Since its arrival at Roland Garros, the Paris Major has enjoyed a unique image on the world circuit. Few tournaments today can offer such a setting.  prestigious  to padel.

The mythical  Court Philippe Chatrier  Roland-Garros will once again host the tournament's biggest matches in an atmosphere that has become one of the event's hallmarks. Under the floodlights, the Roland-Garros center court adds another dimension to the spectacle, especially during the evening matches which attract an ever-growing audience each year.

Around the main court, several additional courts will also allow spectators to follow the matches as closely as possible to the players throughout the week.

 A full week of competition 

The 2026 edition will officially begin on  Monday 7 September  with the qualifying rounds before the start of the main draw, leading up to the finals scheduled for Sunday, September 13.

Throughout the week, the tournament will continue with:

  • qualifications,
  • first rounds,
  • round of 16,
  • quarter-finals,
  • semi-finals,
  • final.

Matches will take place from the morning onwards, with several highly anticipated evening sessions also scheduled on Philippe-Chatrier court. This format contributes enormously to the popularity of the Parisian tournament.

Note that this year will be special as we will have the FIP SILVER Marnes a few steps from the Roland Garros stadium, the week before the Paris Major.

 One of the most prestigious tournaments in the world 

The Paris Major is one of the “Major” tournaments, the most prestigious category on the circuit.

The equivalent of the Grand Slams in tennis.

Beyond the prestige, the sporting stakes are immense, as the winners will take home 2,000 FIP points, a crucial reward in the race for the world rankings. Result:  All the best pairs in the world are targeting this Parisian event. 

As every year, the Parisian public should see the biggest names in world padel.

In the men's draw, Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia will be particularly anticipated. The Spanish-Argentine pair continues to dominate the circuit thanks to an impressive blend of power and creativity.

Among the women, Gemma Triay and Delfi Brea should also be among the major attractions of the tournament.

 The "Padel “Festival”, the big new thing for 2026 

This year, the organization wants to go even further in the experience offered to the public with the launch of a true “Padel Festival” starting Sunday, September 6th.

The objective is clear: to transform Roland-Garros into a a true living space centered around padel.

The night sessions are expected to be one of the highlights of the week once again. Under the floodlights of Philippe-Chatrier, padel takes on a spectacular dimension unique to the world circuit.

The tournament also continues to rely on a policy  affordable price  with tickets from €10 for the Padel Festival and €15 for qualifications.
