In the semi-final, Arnaud PIGNOLET and Mathieu PIERRE - number 1 seeds - beat Nicolas SEBERT and Franck MANNI, not without difficulty, in 2 sets, while Olivier ROMARY and Eric BRIZZI, the number 2 seeds, defeated by Frank CHOVEAU and Anthony CHOPPIN after nevertheless a first set hung.

The first set was undecided for a long time after 4 break points (and sets!) Including 2 to 5/4 then 2 to 6/5. After, what is more, having led 3/0, PIGNOLET and PIERRE miss the boat to finally lose 7/6 in the tie-break…
