The seed 3 composed of Marie Rondot and Manon Garcia won the TCAM Amiens Métropole Women's P1000 at the end of a perfectly controlled weekend. In the final, they dominated Sanoner and Barbe in two sets, after a start to the match that was far from easy.
Facing a pair brimming with confidence, who had notably achieved the performance of the tournament by eliminating the 2nd seed before reaching the final, Rondot and Garcia had to work hard to gain the upper hand.
A final that gradually unfolded.
The rallies were hard-fought from the opening games, with both teams trading blows. But as the match progressed, the third seed managed to impose a more rhythmic and stable game.
Stronger in the crucial moments, Rondot and Garcia gradually gained the upper hand to clinch a hard-fought first set. 7/5 .
A first set win that completely changed the dynamic of the match. Playing with renewed freedom, both players played with more freedom in the second set and quickly took control of the match to secure the title.
A first successful association
At the end of the tournament, Marie Rondot she reflected on this victory, achieved in their first tournament together:
“It was my first time playing with Manon Garcia. I was really looking forward to playing this tournament with her. We share the same mentality: never give up and fight for every point. It’s something I love. We clicked very quickly on the court and managed to find common ground. That helped us a lot. We had some close matches at the beginning of the tournament, then we managed to build momentum as the matches progressed.”
A promising partnership that is therefore off to the best possible start with a title in P1000 .
Sanoner / Barbe, the pleasant surprise of the tournament
Despite the defeat in the final, Sanoner and Barbe They leave with many satisfactions. Their journey was highlighted by a very impressive victory against the number 2 seed.
On their side, Rondot and Garcia confirm their status as serious contenders on the French circuit and win a title that rewards a weekend that was increasingly controlled as the matches progressed.

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
