The qualifications of the  Premier Padel Rotterdam P1  continue this Monday, and two French players will play for their place in the main draw. After their successes in the opening,  Dylan Guichard  et  Léa Godallier  now have one last obstacle to overcome.

Guichard faces the Gutiérrez / Valdés challenge

In the first round  Guichard  (137) and its Spanish partner  Diego Dorta Diaz  (134) have dismissed  Bastien Blanqué / Johan Bergeron  after a fight lasting almost two hours (5/7 7/6).

But for a place in the final table, the step looks much higher: the duo will have to face the  seeded 1 ,  Agustín Gutiérrez (68)  et  Javi Valdés (78) , two regulars at the very highest level. The match is scheduled for the second 10 a.m. rotation on the  central court .

Godallier / Marchetti: a balanced match

In the ladies,  Lea Godallier (61)  reunited with his former Italian partner  Giorgia Marchetti (56) . Facing the Dutch wildcards  Luttikhuis / Hemmes , the favorites trembled but secured the essential (7/6 6/3). After a first set snatched in the tie-break, they better controlled the second set to win in two sets.

To reach the final table, they will now have to compete against the  seeded 6 ,  Patricia Martinez Fortun (59)  et  Jana Montes Cabruja (62) . A poster that promises to be  very balanced , especially since Godallier knows Fortun well, a former partner with whom she recently shared the track. See you in the third rotation at 10 a.m. on the  short 2 .

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
