The International Federation of Padel regulates service to padel.

All points start with a service. If the first service is not good, the server is allowed to perform a second service. The service must be performed as follows:

a) Before serving, the server must place both feet behind the service line, between the imaginary extension of the center line of service and the side wall (behind the service square), and must remain there until the moment the ball was served.

b) The server must bounce the ball on the ground behind the service square to perform its service.

c) The server can not touch the service line with its foot, nor the imaginary middle line.

d) The server must bounce the ball at or below the waist to serve and have at least one foot in contact with the ground at the time of service.

e) The ball must be served in the opposite diagonal, in the direction of the opposing service and pass over the net. The ball must bounce inside the lines that delimit the square. For the first point of the game, the service must be played in the direction of the receiver's service area on the left. Once the point is complete, the following service must be played in the direction of the right-hand service saloon, and so on.

f) The server can not walk, run or jump while it is serving. Any small movements of the foot that do not affect the adopted service position are accepted.

g) It is considered that the ball has been served as soon as contact with the ball has been made or that it has been intentionally attempted to touch it.

(h) If the service has been inadvertently performed on the wrong side, the error shall be corrected as soon as it has been ascertained. If necessary, all the points obtained will be validated. However, any first missed service must be taken into account.

i) Before starting each set, players must decide who will start serving. Once the order has been established, it can not be changed until the beginning of the next set.

j) If a player serves while it is not his turn, the player who should have served will do so as soon as the error is noticed. All points obtained before the discovery of the error will be validated. Any first service missed at the time the error was found is not taken into account. In the case where the game is over before the error is found, the service order will remain unchanged until the end of the set.

k) The server can not be used until the receiver is ready. However, the receiver will adjust reasonably to the pace of the server and will be ready to receive the service when the server is ready to serve.

(l) The recipient can not claim that he was "not ready" if he tried to return the service. On the other hand, if it can be shown that the receiver was not ready, it can not be announced that he has committed a "fault".

Case # 1: At what maximum height can a player who bends his legs to serve hit the ball?
Decision: At or below the waist when serving the ball.
