There was a show and surprises for the  third day  du  Santiago Premier Padel P1 , including the elimination of the world number 1s  Arturo Coello  et  Agustín Tapia . The young pair formed by  Leo Augsburg  et  paul cardona , nicknamed “Carburger”, achieved a real feat by dominating the favorites in two sets:  7 / 6 6 / 4  en  1h11 game .

Heralded as one of the most promising pairs of 2025, the Argentine  and  Spanish  already confirm their full potential. Thanks to this victory, they will face in the quarter-finals  Juan Tello  et  Tino Libaak , fallers of  Paquito Navarro  et  Lucas Bergamini It will also be a confrontation between two representatives of the new Argentine generation, Libaak and Augsburger having triumphed together in the  FIP World Championships  in Doha.

On the side of  Coello  et  Wall , the disappointment is great: for the first time since the beginning of their association, they have been eliminated twice in a row before the semi-finals. This setback marks an unexpected turning point in their season.

In other men's meetings,  Juan lebron  et  Franco Stupaczuk  took their revenge on  Tolito Aguirre  et  Gonzalo Alfonso  (6/7 6/4 6/2), while  Coki Nieto  et  mike yanguas  also had to fight to eliminate  Alex Ruiz  et  Alex Chozas  (6/7 6/1 6/4).  Ale Galan  et  Fede Chingotto , for their part, were more expeditious in the face of  Jairus Baptist  et  Fran Guerrero , winning their match in two sets.

Another big surprise of the day: the defeat of  Martin Di Nenno  et  Javi Garrido , beaten by  Victor Ruiz  et  Xisco Gil .

In the ladies , there is no shortage of surprises either.  Marina Guinart  et  Victoria Iglesias , winners of the  CUPRA FIP Finals , created a sensation by eliminating the number 4 seed  Marta Ortega  et  Sofia Araujo  in three sets. They will play their quarter-final against  Alejandra Alonso  et  Andrea Ustero .

The first three pairs in the women's table held their own.  Ariana Sanchez  et  Paula Josemaria ,  Delfina Brea  et  Gemma Triay  and  Claudia fernandez  et  Gemma Gonzalez  all won their first competition.
