Juan Tello makes his big comeback. The Argentinian, alias The cat, will play his first semi-final on the circuit Premier Padel for almost a year. We have to go back to P2 of Bordeaux in 2024, where he played alongside Fernando Belasteguin, to find his mark at this stage of the competition. Now associated with the young Tino Libaak, junior world champion, Tello is finding his form and rhythm again, despite a fall in the world rankings (now 20th, after having been the 7th player in the world).

The Argentinian duo had to work hard to secure their place in the semi-finals, after an intense battle against Leo Augsburger and Pablo Cardona : victory in three sets (7/6 6/7 6/3). They will now face the number 3 seed, Juan LeBron and Franco Stupaczuk, for a place in the final.

In the other semi-final, we will find the seed n ° 2, Ale Galan and Fede Chingotto, opposed to the pair recently formed by Coki Nieto and Mike YanguasThis match will mark the 30nd semi-final of a tournament Premier Padel for Galan, who has an impressive record of 25 wins for 4 losses at this stage.

In the ladies, three of the four best pairs in the tournament held their own and will be at the semi-finals. At the opening of the evening session (from 19 p.m. Chilean time – 23 p.m. in France), Ariana Sanchez and Paula Josemaria will face Bea Gonzalez and Claudia Fernandez in a highly anticipated clash.

Earlier today, it was Delfi Brea and Gemma Triay, in search of a fourth consecutive title, who will open the ball against Alejandra Alonso and Andrea Ustero, seeded number 6. These latter put an end to the beautiful epic of Marina Guinart and Victoria Iglesias (6/4, 6/4), fallers of Marta Ortega and Sofia Araujo in the previous round.
